SHE likes to sing to me. One of the songs is "How much is that doggie in the window?" So we found the muppet version. It made her laugh so I think I've done my job today. I'm still pretty groggy, but she brought a roasted chicken home for our dinner and I've already had a snack. Yum. We want to share it (the video, not the chicken), so other people can laugh too.

CHICKEN! You scored really good! We´ve been having a little chopped up hotdog in the Pro Plan...it´s sort of like playing ball with breaks...I always win, I´m a good catch...and I loved the movie...thank you for being so nice and sharing with me...I can see now that you´re a Hot Tamale type doggie...we´re the best with our spicy tendencies. Glad you´re eating good...keep eating or she will get upset...it´s important to keep the cook happy.
ReplyDeleteFondly yours,
Coban Gonzalez
Coban not only did I get chicken, but SHE cooked rice and broccoli (SHE peels the tough stuff off the outside and just cooks it until it's tender) I think this is my favorite meal of all. Hot Tamales sound good. They don't have them here in Maine, though. SHE's told me about San Diego and the great tamales you can get there. Nice to have a new friend.

Dear Isabelle,
ReplyDeleteTamales are for Saturdays. That´s when the really good tamales are available...the tamale makers have a red light they hang outside the door to let humans know to buy them for us freshly made (I heard them talking about that red light being used for other naughty stuff but that doesn´t concern really well-bred doggers like you and me...we mustn´t gossip about some of the street dogs as we are truly blessed).
I hope you keep eating well with all those extra good things in your dinner...surely you´ll feel good even though you´ve been having some painful times too.
I´m thinking of you and wishing you tender mercies.

GREAT! I just heard the good news about the hidden tongue disease being benign...cool, does this mean we´re on for Tamales of Saturday night? Your place or mine (I´ll arrange the tickets and perhaps we´ll HOWL after!).
ReplyDeleteYour friend,
Coban Gonzalez
Oh Coban, I just saw this. I'm afraid I can't go anywhere. I stuck in the doggie hospital. You're on for Tamales as soon as I can get out of here.
