It started out like most of our days on the road, but right after lunch we stopped. After a while we went off on some side roads and it went on forever. SHE stopped to get gas and go to the bathroom and I am strong enough to jump out of my car seat again. So I went in the back and emptied out all the bags I could find. I ate my fill of dog treats and drank all the water in my dish and tore up some old MacDonald's bags and found my favorite toy, the hedgehog. Then I got on the back seat and took a nap.
Uh oh. Sounds like trouble. For her sake, I hope you aren't sick but you certainly have earned an unhappy tummy and no bacon.
ReplyDeleteWhat! I'm just fine. Just not hungry. No bacon is not fair. There's always room for that.
ReplyDeleteIzzie, I hope you will be a good doggie and not eat too many treats all at once. I'm sure that HER having to drive cross country is quite enough. I hope there are no more detours and that you have smooth sailing for the remainder of your trip. At least you've escaped the cold in the East! All the kitties are praying for your safety.
ReplyDeleteThank you Whiteycat. We got to Pasadena ok. It was very windy and SHE tied me up in my seat so I couldn't escape. We stopped at a rest stop and I nearly got blown away by the wind. It was great. I love wind. SHE didn't appreciate it nearly as much. I've got everybody thinking I'm the boss here, even though my mommy's daughter has a doggie too. Her name is Buttercup and she's afraid of me. Of course she's pretty young. I believe in letting big dogs know who's the boss. The biggest problem tonight was getting my mommy to go to bed. We've been gong to bed pretty early on our trip..
