Yesterday the doctor took the staples out of my back. She says I'm not supposed to jump or climb for a long time yet (about 2 1/2 more weeks). It's very boring. My back legs are working pretty well. I don't loose my step as much as I did for a while.
SHE carried me upstairs and downstairs today so SHE could take a bath. I like to sit next to the tub and when SHE comes out I lick her legs. If SHE leaves me behind I bark and bark and bark. I'm a companion dog and I like to companion. Can't do that unless you're with someone, right?

It's good to hear your legs are working. I'm not so sure I like the begging tho. Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteHow else does a doggie get what she wants? I've also been known to wrap my two front paws around her arms and try to get her to get up. That gets her attention. Of course it sometimes takes her a few tries to figure out what I want. It's either "pay attention to me I want a snuggle" or some food.
ReplyDeleteI, Coban Gonzalez, live in the compound of the mad artisto Leonardo...lot´s of other dogs live here too but HE loves dogs and so we let him think that we´re all his best friend (individually)...Serena Gonzalez is everyones favorite dog...she´s by far the most popular amongst the dogs and is very sweet to THEM too...anyhow, we´re so happy, yes, I told all the others, that you´re healing well and that leaping up stairs and scampering around may become a reality again...you are so funny waking HER up, we all have our ¨gimmicks¨ but Serena wins ¨paws down¨...she licks his eyes...both of them, (Belle Gonzalez used to STARE AT HIM until he woke up but she died last year as she was very old and wanted to go to where she would feel young again...she went to the God Spa and Kennel)...not much HE CAN SAY TO THAT LOVELY WAKE-UP from Serena (even though I think he knows that we want breakfast as soon as possible...GIANT FIDO, the English Sheep Dogs, BARKS and BARKS the moment HE moves). Love to you, Coban
ReplyDeleteWow, you are sooo lucky to have all those friends. I think I would like Serena too. I'm sorry Belle had to go away, but as you say she's young again. I'm a pretty good starer too. Of course I like you because you write to me and you like good food too. Oh, I have another trick to get her to get up. I stand close to her head and breathe on her. That usually does the trick. The paws around her arm are for desperate moments.
ReplyDeleteAnd love to all of you my new friends. Coban, Serena, Giant Fido and any others I don't know your names.
